In addition to traditional one-time monetary donations, PrimeHealth+ offers several meaningful ways to give. Whether it’s through recurring donations, planned giving, stock transfers, or employer matching, your support helps us continue providing essential care to those who need it most. Monthly Giving
When you choose to give a recurring donation of any amount, you provide a sustainable source of dependable support for our patients and help build a community of giving. To get started with a recurring donation, please visit our online donation form and select “recurring gift” or reach out to Martha Graf of our Development Team at (970) 200-1628.
IRA Gifts
Individuals aged 70 ½ or older may donate up to $100,000 annually directly from their traditional (not ROTH) IRA to PrimeHealth+ and avoid paying taxes on the donated amount. Contact your financial or tax advisor or our Development Team at (970) 200-1628 for more information.
Donate Your Vehicle
Turn your old car, boat, RV, or ATV—running or not—into dollars for patient care. Cars Helping Charities handles all the logistics, including free towing of your vehicle and sale. All you need to provide is the title. The proceeds—minus a reasonable fee—will go directly to PrimeHealth+. To get started, go visit CarsHelpingCharities.org or call 1-866-701-2277.
Donate Tax Refunds Through ReFUND Colorado
- If you’re receiving a Colorado state income tax refund, you can make a big impact by donating some or all of it to PrimeHealth+. It’s a simple way to support accessible healthcare for our friends and neighbors—right when it matters most. Here’s how to give through your refund: Enter our ID number 20023006068 on the Voluntary Contributions Schedule (DR 0104CH) of your Colorado Individual Income Tax Return (or ask your tax preparer to do this).

Donate Stocks, Bonds, and Securities
Donating appreciated stocks, bonds, or other securities is a powerful way to support PrimeHealth+ while also gaining potential tax advantages. The most effective assets to donate are those that have significantly increased in value and are producing a low yield. By making a charitable gift of securities, you can avoid paying long-term capital gains tax and may receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the asset. This means more of your gift goes directly to helping provide quality healthcare to those who need it most.

Donor Advised Funds
A DAF is like a savings account with the sole purpose of supporting charities. Administered by a third party, individuals or families contribute assets to their DAF and get an immediate tax break. Then, donors can decide which charity to support. Contact your financial institution, Western Colorado Community Foundation, or our Development Team at (970) 200-1628 with your questions.
Real Estate
Gifts of real estate that comply with our Gift-Acceptance Policy can benefit both PrimeHealth+, as well as the donor. Benefits of donating homes or property to PrimeHealth+ may help a donor avoid paying capital gains tax and receive a charitable income tax deduction. Consult with your Financial Planner or call (970) 200-1628 to discuss with our Development Team.
Estate Planning
Legacy Giving is a powerful way to ensure the things you care about — like making affordable healthcare available to others — continue on after you pass. Your presence lives on through lasting support for PrimeHealth+. Legacy Donors are individuals who include PrimeHealth+ in their estate plans, helping to sustain our mission of providing healthcare for all—today and for generations to come. These meaningful gifts reflect a deep commitment to community health.

Bequests
A bequest is a gift of personal property (but not real estate) that is given to a charity under the terms of a will. The value of the bequest is what benefits PrimeHealth+. If you have already included a bequest to Marillac or PrimeHealth+ in your will, please contact the Development Team at (970) 200-1628.
Beneficiary Designations
One of the easiest ways to support affordable health care is to name PrimeHealth+ as a beneficiary of any “non-probate” assets like bank accounts, 401(k)s, IRAs, or life insurance policies. Consider naming us as a beneficiary when reviewing your accounts.
