A word about our name change:

Portrait of a woman in a black religious habit and white wimple, with a calm expression, looking slightly to the side, set against an oval background—symbolizing compassion at Montrose Health Care.Although we’ve bid farewell to the name MarillacHealth (our legal name is now Marillac Clinic, Inc., dba PrimeHealth+), we continue to acknowledge the influence of Saint Louise de Marillac, the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, and those who worked so hard to bring healthcare to Mesa County 37 years ago, during a time of extreme need and beyond.

A walk-through our new building shows reminders of our history—a plaque here, a piece of artwork there—but we will always live our mission. It’s one we think Saint Louise de Marillac would like: Together, we provide excellent healthcare for all.

We will never forget our roots or the legacy of our founders and our earliest supporters. In fact, we are reminded of them every day, as we help patient after patient achieve prime health.

Our New Building Opens to Patients August 27th!

We’ve been anticipating this day for 2 1/2 years, and it is finally almost here: our health care home will open Wednesday, August 27th!

If you’ve driven by 526 29 1/2 Road recently, you’ve seen the changes to the exterior of the property: lower-maintenance, desert-friendly landscaping, ample parking, and our brand-new name! You may also know this is a project years in the making, and that it is only possible because of our supporters, who gave generously to make it happen.

A quick note about our move:

Our administration department is moving to the new building beginning Thursday, August 14th, and will have limited access to direct emails and voicemail until Monday, August 18th.

6th Street Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health, as well as our Financial Assistance Specialists, will remain in the old building by St. Mary’s for a short time before moving. The last appointments at 6th Street are scheduled for Wednesday, August 20th.

While our 6th Street and 602 Bookcliff locations will close, all other locations remain open as usual.
