Matthew joined PrimeHealth+ in 2025 after nine years of experience in community behavioral health in rural eastern Oregon. He is excited to be working in integrated care again, the setting in which he was initially trained. He believes psychotherapy is most successful when clients bring their expertise about themselves and collaborate with his clinical training to explore their emotions, thoughts, behavior, and relationships to develop meaningful and lasting change. He earned his master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2015. With significant experience working with individuals, couples, and families, Matthew creates a supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. When not at work, he enjoys cycling, hiking, traveling, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, trying new food, and spending time with his spectacular wife and kids.
