Karen joined PrimeHealth+ in August 2024. Karen graduated Utah State University with a degree in biology and chemistry in 2004. In 2014, she earned her nursing degree from Northern Kentucky University. In 2024 she graduated from Duke University was a Master’s in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner. Between 2014-2024, she worked as a transplant nurse before transitioning to Emergency Medicine and worked in a small rural ER in Utah. Karen was also the Trauma Program Manager while at the ER. She loves working in an integrated care model as it is truly a benefit for patients and families. In her free time, Karen enjoys rafting, skiing, boating, and gardening. She is proud to say she has rafted the entire length of the Colorado River through Utah and Arizona.
