Dr. Lackey grew up in Denver, Colorado, attending school through high school there and participating in scouting, becoming an Eagle Scout. He went to Colorado College for his undergraduate education, majoring in Anthropology. He then went to McGill University in Montreal, Canada for medical school and returned to Denver for post graduate education, doing an internship, then a residency and family medicine. Since then he has worked in family medicine and emergency room medicine in Summit County, Colorado. He worked at the Summit Community Care Clinic in Frisco for the past five years with his primary interest areas being general family practice, emergency medicine, and geriatrics. His outside interests include hiking, golf, camping and astronomy. Dr. Lackey joined PrimeHealth+ in January 2024.
