Kathleen, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, joined PrimeHealth+ in April 2024. Originally from Moab, Utah, she has called Fruita home for the past 22 years. Kathleen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Brigham Young University-Idaho and a Master’s degree from Western Governors University. Prior to her current role, she served as a Registered Nurse for 13 years at HopeWest, where she obtained certification as a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse. With a rich background in nursing, Kathleen brings expertise in pain management, case coordination, and patient empowerment to her practice. She has dedicated much of her career to working with geriatric populations, including veterans, and has served the intellectually and developmentally disabled community. Kathleen’s patient-centered approach is characterized by compassion, respect, and a deep commitment to individualized care. She prioritizes building trusting relationships and strives to ensure her patients feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their healthcare journey. Passionate about mental health and patient education, Kathleen enjoys working with individuals of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Outside of her professional life, Kathleen finds joy in spending time with her husband, four grown children, and five grandchildren. She also enjoys traveling and gardening.
