Makayla graduated from Colorado Mesa University with her bachelor’s in Social Work in May of 2025 then beginning her graduate school program for Social Work at CMU 10 days later. She began her internship with PrimeHealth+ in August 2025. Makayla has a background working with the senior population and adults with disabilities. She believes in the integrated care approach PrimeHealth+ utilizes and is eager to learn from different specialties within the clinics. When not working or engaging in her studies, Makayla enjoys spending time with her family and reading. Her goal after graduation is to work towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
